The Toulouse Marathon is on Sunday 1 November 2026, with the first start at 8:00 on Boulevard d'Arcole and the finish on Boulevard Lazare Carnot. The organiser says the course passes the Place du Capitole, the Canal du Midi, the Piste des Géants, the Cité de l'Espace, the Oncopole, ENAC and the Île du Ramier.
The race came back in 2024, after the 2020 to 2023 editions were cancelled. You collect your number at the village on Place du Capitole on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and there is no collection on race day.

Collecting your number 2026 details
Collect at the race village on Place du Capitole, on Thursday 29 October from 14:00 to 18:00, Friday 30 October from 10:00 to 19:00 or Saturday 31 October from 10:00 to 18:00. Bring your identity document and the collection card emailed a few days before the race, and your PPS certificate if your file is incomplete.
Someone else can collect for you with your collection card and a copy of your ID. No bibs are given out on 1 November. A postal option for 8 euros was offered at registration. T-shirts and shoes you bought are collected on 1 November at the solutions desk next to the bag drop, not posted. A relay team collects all its numbers through one person.
Race morning 2026 details
The marathon starts at 8:00. The organiser's table gives start waves by expected finish time, with the elite and preferred groups at 8:00, 3:00 at 8:03, 3:15 at 8:06, 3:30 at 8:09, 3:45 at 8:15, 4:00 at 8:20, 4:15 at 8:27 and 4:30 at 8:30. It advises arriving at the bag drop 75 minutes before your wave and entering your start block 20 minutes before it, entering the blocks from Boulevard Lazare Carnot. The handisport wave starts at 7:55.
The bag drop is free, on Boulevard de Strasbourg, for one bag per person up to 20 litres, and loose items without a bag are not accepted. It closes at 16:00. You must wear your bib on the front, and backpacks over 20 litres and walking poles are banned.
The organiser's marathon page says to get off the metro at Jeanne d'Arc because the Jean Jaurès stop is closed. The Toulouse Métropole page says all metro stations are served except Jeanne d'Arc. Check the final instructions and the metro operator's notice.
The course 2026 details
The route starts on Boulevard d'Arcole and finishes on Boulevard Lazare Carnot. The organiser has a GPX file, and says the course is subject to change with permits and any works. Solid and liquid stations are every 5 km and at the finish, with a toilet at each. Water comes from the public network in reusable cups, so bring a flask or hydration vest to fill. Pacers are in each start block.
Toulouse Métropole lists road and parking closures on Sunday 1 November, with traffic banned from 00:00 to 21:00 in one zone and parking banned from Saturday 31 October at 13:00. The time limit is 6 hours of race time, and the organiser does not say whether it counts from the gun or your own start.
Entering 2026 details
Registration closes on 30 October 2026. The marathon costs 59 euros for the first 1,000 entries, 69 euros for the next 2,800, 79 euros for the next 2,400 and 90 euros after that, before platform fees. You must be 20 or older on 31 August of the sporting year. The organiser says the price bands are by number of entries, so check which band is open.
Getting to Toulouse 2026 details
From Toulouse-Blagnac airport, the airport's own page lists the T2 tram and a shuttle bus, both run by Tisséo. The T2 takes 35 minutes on average, runs about every 20 minutes and connects with metro line A at Arènes, metro line B at Palais de Justice and the main railway station. On 6 October the airport said the T2 was interrupted, so check Tisséo before you rely on it. The airport shuttle takes 25 to 45 minutes depending on traffic and runs every 15 minutes every day. It stops at the Pierre Baudis Congress Centre, Jeanne d'Arc and Matabiau railway station. The first shuttle leaves the airport at 5:40 and the last at 0:10. The fare is 9 euros a trip and includes the rest of the Tisséo network.
Your number is collected at the village on Place du Capitole, and the organiser gives no directions to it. On race morning Toulouse Métropole says to go by public transport and to follow the news on tisseo.fr. The organiser's pages disagree on the metro. Its marathon page says to get off at Jeanne d'Arc because Jean Jaurès is closed, and Toulouse Métropole says every station is served except Jeanne d'Arc. Neither page says whether the airport shuttle changes that day. Check Tisséo's notice in the last week before the race.
You enter the start blocks from Boulevard Lazare Carnot, and the bag drop is on Boulevard de Strasbourg. Toulouse Métropole bans parking on the boulevards between Arnaud Bernard and François Verdier, which include Strasbourg, Arcole and Carnot, from Saturday 31 October at 13:00 until Sunday 21:00. It also lists partial closures at exits 15, 16, 18, 20, 21 and 24 of the road interchanges, with diversions. The organiser has not published how to get home from the finish. We'll add it here when they do.
Where to stay in Toulouse
The start on Boulevard d'Arcole, the village on Place du Capitole and the finish on Boulevard Lazare Carnot are all in the city centre. Toulouse Métropole says the metro serves every station except one. The organiser's pages disagree on which, so pick a room within walking distance of the start if you can.
Weather in Toulouse in October and November
The race has been run on a Sunday between 20 October and 10 November in the last five editions. The 2020 to 2023 editions were cancelled, so these are the editions of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025, at Boulevard d'Arcole, at 8:00 and at 13:00. The hour is the one the 2026 marathon starts in. They are model estimates for the start area, not readings from a weather station.
