Getting to Milan

The start on Corso Sempione and the finish in Piazza del Duomo are in different parts of the city. The organiser's page says a transport service takes withdrawn runners to the finish area. Collecting your number 2027 details

Finish your registration documents before you collect. You can enter first and upload your federation licence number, RUNCARD number and medical certificate later. The organiser says this must be complete before you collect your number, or your registration is incomplete.

Race morning 2027 details

The 2026 race started in the 8:00 hour. A local news site gave 8:00 for the 12 April 2026 race and the municipality's page gave 8:15. Do not plan around those times until the organiser confirms the 2027 start.

The organiser says the time limit is 6 hours 30 minutes. The entry includes a personal clothes deposit and dressing rooms. The organiser has not published where the deposit is or when it closes. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

The course 2026 details

The organiser's page for 2027 gives Corso Sempione to Piazza del Duomo and 10 refreshment points. Its route page is headed 2026 and lists charity and music points along the route. The entry includes technical and medical assistance, a goody bag, the official T-shirt and a finisher's medal for runners who finish. No climb figure is given.

Entering 2027 details

The competitive marathon is open to athletes aged 20 or over in 2027. What you need depends on your nationality, residence and whether you belong to an athletics federation, and the organiser has an explanatory document for it. The organiser also has a non-competitive sport tourism entry. Its results go in an alphabetical list and its runners are not eligible for prize money.

Registration closes at 23:59 on 31 March 2027, unless the organiser closes it early or accepts entries after it. You cannot register on race day or pay when you collect your number.

The marathon page shows a price of 99 euros until 30 September. That date has passed, so check the current price when you enter. Insurance costs 10 euros and returns the fee if you cancel for any reason, 100% if you ask by 31 January 2027 and 75% from 1 February to 23 March 2027. The 5 euro online service fee and the insurance cost are not returned.

Weather in Milan in April

The race has been run between 2 and 12 April in the last five editions. These are the last five completed race days at Corso Sempione, at 8:00 and at 13:00. The hour is the one that held the 2026 start. They are model estimates for the start area, not readings from a weather station.

The 2024 afternoon was the warmest at 21.1 °C. The 2022 morning was the coolest at 2.0 °C.
