Collecting your number 2027 details

Numbers and chips are handed over in person at Expo Sports. The organiser says nothing is given out on race day.

The collection page lists Friday 12 February and Saturday 13 February, from 9:00 to 20:00. It also lists a further afternoon window from 15:00 to 20:00 on a date it marks as to be confirmed. The question and answer section of the home page gives Thursday 11 February from 15:00 to 20:00, Friday 12 February from 14:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 13 February from 10:00 to 20:00. The regulations also name Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday at 20:00 is the last time on any of them. Plan around the later Friday opening until the organiser settles the hours.

The venue and address are marked as coming soon. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

Take your ID, either the national identity document or a digital copy, and the email that shows your bib number. If you do not have the email, the organiser says you can download it from its website. You collect your number, chip, runner's bag and a free shirt. Shirts go in order of arrival until a size runs out.

Someone else can collect for you. They need your confirmation with the bib number and your ID.

Race morning 2027 details

The first start is at 8:30 and the organiser expects the event to end at about 13:15. Starting pens are marked by bib colour. You chose your pen when you entered and can change it before 30 November 2026 in your registration account.

The time limit is 2 hours 45 minutes from the moment the last runner crosses the start line. Runners who miss it are out of the race and the official results.

Bag drop depends on your bib colour. The organiser's map is not published yet, so check these places against it when it appears.

Arrive in your running clothes, with your number on your shirt and your bag marked with the receipt. There are no showers at the race.

Your timing chip goes on your shoe and must be returned after the finish. A chip that is not returned costs 5 euros. You must be 18 or older on race day.

The course 2027 details

The route starts on Passeig Picasso. The route page links a map, start and finish maps, a GPX file and a Strava route. It does not say which year they are for. Check them against the final map.

The regulations give liquid stations at about 5, 10, 15 and 17.5 km, with liquid and solid refreshment at the finish. Thirty pacers run ten paces from 1 hour 20 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes. No climb figure is given.

Entering 2027 details

The 2027 race is sold out. The organiser lets a runner who cannot start pass the place on through "Gestiona la teva inscripció" and "Canvi de titular". The new runner pays the entry. The original runner gets that money back minus a 16.95 euro fee.

Changes after 12 January 2027 do not get a personalised bib. No changes are possible after 30 January. Handing a number to someone outside this system can cancel your own entry and bar you from future editions.

Getting to Barcelona 2026 details

From Barcelona airport, TMB's metro line L9 Sud runs from terminals T1 and T2 to the city every 7 minutes. It takes about 30 to 32 minutes to the centre. Torrassa station connects to L1, and Zona Universitària to L3. You need an airport ticket to use the airport stations, because ordinary single tickets are not valid there.

The 2027 start is on Passeig Picasso. For the 2026 race on 15 February, TMB advised using the metro on race morning. The stops for the start were Arc de Triomf on L1 and Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica on L4. TMB gave 36,000 free single tickets to runners when they collected their numbers, for use by metro or bus on race day. It said 39 bus lines were affected between about 8:30 and 15:30, and listed them, so check the 2027 list nearer the race.

The organiser has not published the 2027 expo venue, which the collection section above also notes. The organiser's bag drop pages name Passeig Picasso, Plaçeta Vicenç Albert Ballester and the Estació del Nord, and they give no metro stations or route home. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

Where to stay in Barcelona

The start is on Passeig Picasso and bag drop is at three places, so choose a room with the area for your bib colour in mind. A room within walking distance of your bag drop saves the early trip. Collection is at Expo Sports, whose venue is not published, so decide on the room again once it is.

Weather in Barcelona in February

These are the last five completed race days at the start on Passeig Picasso, at 8:00 and at 13:00. The race has been run between 11 February and 3 April in these years. They are model estimates for the start area, not readings from a weather station.

Afterwards 2027 details

Finishers get liquid and solid refreshment at the finish. Collect your bag from the area you used. The areas close between 12:00 and 14:00 by bib colour, so plan to collect it before then.
